   • There is little and uncertain evidence from Conchita’s testimony that there « will not be a Third World War. In addition, there is evidence and reason to suggest that Our Lady’s comment was never intended to extend beyond the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. Conchita González of Garabandal was asked, « WILL THERE BE WAR? » on the 17th of November 1966.      Editor’s Note: The original question only mentioned the word « war. » The original question NEVER mentioned « world war » or « a third world war ». So, how do we go from that question and the Virgin’s answer that Conchita revealed in 1966, « War is not what God wants for his children » which clearly pertained to what was happening in 1962 and then extend that simple statement to mean no « world war » or no « third world war » until the end of time? It reminds me of something like a fish story that each time you tell it the fish gets bigger.
     Is Glenn Hudson’s and others interpretation justifiable considering Conchita’s later testimony… given the uncertainty Conchita expressed after being pressed by Bishop Garmendia about another « world war »?Is Glenn Hudson more certain than Conchita was on this matter?I’m sorry Glenn, I respectfully disagree with your interpretation of Conchita’s testimony and any others who’ve held this view for longer than a generation.With all that is happening in the world involving the US, Europe and the Middle East Glenn continues to hold this position… Why?Is Glenn and others like him concerned that their interpretation cold reflect negatively upon the Apparitions of Garabandal?

So look out, the noose is tightening! It’s the Virgin who is speaking.Conchita: The Virgin was talking about the end of the times. She also spoke to us about France. I don’t know if you remember but it was being said that a world war would break out in 1962. At the time everyone was afraid including me. Then the Virgin appeared and addressing our concern said: « Don’t be afraid, there will not be another world war. » [Notice the indications « our concern » « At the time » « in 1962 » … That was during the Cuban Missile Crisis, 16 October 1962 – 29 October 1962]Bishop Garmendia: So she said there would not be another world war.      Consequently, the comments made by some that « there will not be another world war » have little supporting evidence from the record. The statement made by Our Lady in 1962 at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis was meant for right then, at that very moment in time, in that location and was never intended to be infinitely extended to our present day as some have mistakenly suggested. It is a fact that the comment made by Our Lady of Garabandal to Conchita addressed and pertained to the concern of war at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis but no further.
     Glenn Hudson has done tremendous work in the promotion of the Messages of Garabandal and for that he should be commended. With all due respect to Glenn, I think that he is dead wrong on this point and sadly continues to misinform his audience. The citation above is a matter of public record and comes from the single greatest source on the subject of Garabandal ever written. « She went in Haste to the Mountain » – unofficially known as the « bible of Garabandal »

3. What a mess. All these personal opinions contradicting one another. Please let’s stay sane and let’s remember what Conchita truly said. As for the vaccine I am confused as I read in one of our newspapers that Pope Francis is supposed to have said: « We all need to be vaccinated as it’s a moral obligation. Since when does a pope have the right to tell me I have to be vaccinated? I refuse on the ground that living embryos were used here in Australia…However, I’m supposed to have caught it according to the doctors here in Brisbane Australia and spent 9days in isolation being treated like a queen!!! When you compare how many people have died from other diseases at the same time the govt. really doesn’t care. We are now supposed to have another booster.
   I know quite a few people who have never been sick and since they were vaccinated are quite sick. Therefore, I refuse no matter what our pope said. May God sort all this mess out as mankind is to stupid, Anne

   Regarding this Article and the information of the Pope in Russia for the D Day given to me by a French Source close to Father Laffineur years ago, confirmed to me several times since then , below a Page of the so called “Garabandal Book” confirming as well, as I said several times online, I do not endorse this book because it’s a mixture of Truth and personnal opinions of the French Authors of the Book, both were Great Garabandalist but very Vatican II as well, that’s not a problem but the Garabandal Prophecies should not be influenced by the last Council especially since I learned via my own research about Fatima that Vatican II is probably indicated in the Fatima 3rd Secret, Garabandal being a Continuation of Fatima, the Blessed Mother could not complain about the Council in Fatima via her Secret (1917) then endorse it in Garabandal years later (1961-1965) de facto anyone linking the Garabandal Prophecies to the last Council (by suggesting that the Lady of Carmel had endorsed that Council) is de facto wrong, so in this “Garabandal book” (English version) Page 257 (attached Picture) we read :

   “As to Conchita herself, she also said, thinking back, probably, to her locution of Christ on July 10, 1963, that “I think that, on “D” day, the Pope will be in Russia” though adding : “I say that from my own, not from the Blessed Mother”…..

   • Hi Aviso, don’t mix up the pope going to Moscow with the pope being in Moscow for the miracle, they are two separate trips. Conchita said the pope will go to Moscow and then return to Rome and hostilities will break out in Europe.

     • No mix up from me Pat not my way to work, so 2 trips to Russia now ? I do not think so, we are waiting for the first trip from a Pope to Russia for 2000 years already so imagin 2, lets take it that way maybe :

       When hostilities will break out in Europe, The Pope will be in Russia from where he will see the Garabandal Great Miracle for the D Day from Moscow, in Rome that Day will coïncide with an Important event within the Church something like a (new ?) dogma which will affect all the Church.

No it cannot be, it must be 2 separate trips; Conchita said the Pope will go to Moscow and then return to the Vatican and the tribulation will start, The Pope whoever it is then will go to Moscow to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the day of the miracle and the miracle will happen that same day.

           • It is quite obvious Aviso, Our Lady said Russia will be consecrated to my Immaculate Heart and will be converted, (by the miracle), I believe this consecration will happen on the day of the miracle and that same evening at 8.30 in Garabandal the miracle will occur. Blessings;

           In my view also, the idea that the ‘pope’ (whomever) will consacrate Russia in Russia is not likely. No pope has never been to Russia so far and, the first/second time one go there, would perform a consecration (which implies also the ‘conversion’ of the orthodoxs, the powerful local church) in front of the Moscow patriarch and in spiritual communion with all the catholic bishops, instead of within the Vatican? I seriously doubt that.
           Let me also remind what someone has recently noted on the internet: In a sense, Bergoglio has recently been in Russian “territory” (the Russian Embassy, just outside the Vatican walls), the very day the Russian invasion of Ukraine started (namely, exactly when he was “returning” to the Vatican). Thus, the “first” visit might already have happened…
           Bergoglio is not the pope, obviously, but to the eyes of the most part of the people he appears to be such…Apparently, Our Lady did not even reveal to Conchita the very sad situation we are currently experiencing of a false pope reigning since nearly 10 years now.

           • Hi Enrico, It will be after the warning that the consecration of Russia will be done, you are looking at barriers that wont even exist once the warning has happened. The consecration of Russia being done in Russia by the Pope on the day of the miracle is the most logical option if you think about it. There wont be any red tape or barriers after the warning to stop this happening.

             • Dear Path,

               your hypothesis (the pope consecrates Russia after the Warning in Russia itself, on the very day of the Miracle) is really interesting and, I would add, intriguing.

               Nonetheless I see some difficulties:
               1. it requires a VALID Pope, in full shape: I doubt that Benedict XVI could do this, given his age and physical conditions;
               2. for the time being, a new ‘pope’ will be the successor of Bergoglio, and thus an invalid pope himself (because elected mostly by invalid cardinals nominated illicitly by Bergoglio);
               3. moreover: are we really sure that the Russian establishment, including the top of the Orthodox church, will convert after the Warning to the point of allowing such an act of ‘submission’ to the Catholic Church? This is certainly a legitimate hope, but we can’t give that for granted.

               For your idea to work, it seems to me that, at least, we should soon see an ‘healthy’ schism, whereas the cardinals not elected by Bergoglio (49 out of 132 electors: Bergoglio has ‘created’ as much as 83 false ‘cardinals’ so far) will chose a Pope which fulfill the Petrine succession (thus explicitly declaring Bergoglio an usurper). For the time being, this does not appear to be in sight.

               Please consider also the timing: all should happen in the relative smaller span of time between the Warning and the Miracle, amidst the geopolitical chaos that is likely to reign worldwide during that period…

               Obviously, there is an alternative: the new valid Pope could be elected, as it happened at the beginning of the Church, by acclamation by the Catholics of Rome (in our case, the schismatic ones): but this scenario also appears to be a bit unrealistic: would a person elected by a small group of schismatic be recognized internationally and be given the authority to represent all the catholics all over the world?

               In the end, only God knows…I hope anyway you are right: the sooner the Consecration of Russia is done and Our Lady will triumph, the better!!!

                 • Aviso how are you mixing up the Popes trip to Moscow before the tribulation and warning happen with the Pope being in Moscow for the miracle, I dont understand your reasoning on this. Listen to the words as follows ok; Conchita said ‘the Pope will go to Moscow and when he returns to the Vatican hostilities will break out in various parts of Europe.’ (the Pope returns to the Vatican from Moscow), we have to take this as the situation that will happen for now. The Pope will go to Russia again later to do the consecration of Russia to Our Lady and I believe this will be on the same day as the miracle as well as the declaration of the Marian dogma, Mary is Coredemprtix and mediatior of all graces. Remember Conchita said a happy event for the Church will happen on the same day as the miracle but it will coincidental to the miracle itself.

   • The meaning of the ‘arrows’ in the Fatima secret might be related to the importance that Islams attributes to archery. There are, at least 40 ‘hadiths’ (collection of traditions containing sayings of the muhammad which, with accounts of his daily practice, the sunna, constitute the major source of guidance for muslims, apart from the koran) in islam that relate to arrows (one can find them easily on the internet with a simple search).

     As an example of muslim teaching on archery/arrows, consider the following:
     “I heard the messenger of allah say: allah, most high, will cause three persons to enter paradise for one arrow: the maker when he has a good motive in making it, the one who shoots it, and the one who hands it; so shoot and ride, but your shooting is dearer to me than your riding. Everything with which a man amuses himself is vain except three (things): a man’s training of his horse, his playing with his wife, and his shooting with his bow and arrow. If anyone abandons archery after becoming an adept through distaste for it, it is a blessing he has abandoned; or he said: for which he has been ungrateful”.

     Thus, Our Lady might have symbolically referred to the fact that the Pope of the secret (Benedict XVI?) will be killed by muslim fighters. Likely, there will be also other troops (Russian?) represented by the bullets.

     With the utmost respect for this blog, I suggest to consider the story and apparitions of Bruno Cornacchiola (Madonna delle tre Fontane in Rome). It is a very fascinating story and the seer (fully approved by the Church) foresaw the destruction of the Vatican.

     • Interesting thoughts, Enrico! I am familiar with the Madonna delle tre Fontane in Rome. There is so much evil in the Vatican, going back to the alleged Enthronement of Satan in the 1960’s involving Cardinal Bernardin and others. Not surprising. The Second Temple of Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD after Our Lord’s Crucifixion. Will Fatima become the new Rome? Quite possibly.

       I would invite you to consider that the Venerable Servant of God, +Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen+ was of the opinion that the Holy Virgin chose Fatima, in part to assist the Muslims in their conversion. Fatima is the name of the daughter of Muhammad. The Warning, remember, is for everyone, to give them an experience of Truth. An awareness of the Son of God, Our Lord, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Word made flesh who Incarnated in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for our salvation. This awareness is necessary and we can be sure this supernatural intervention will have many surprising consequences.

       I look forward to hearing more from Aviso about his insights regarding Pope Benedict XVI as it pertains to the Fatima secret. Personally, I am inclined to agree that his white martyrdom over the last nine+ years (actually starting before) is enough to fulfill the Secret. Will Moscow then become a kind of second Rome to Fatima? Just as Byzantium/Constantinople was to Rome for many centuries?

         I knew about Cionci’s interpretation of the Fatima secret…a bit distorted indeed, to say the least (too symbolical). He also has his personal views about some visions of the blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick and the false church. Thus I agree with you: his book remains, to date, the best contribute he has given to the common cause…

         The new Rome, Claudia, to me will be Jerusalem: the land of Our Lord (after the mass conversion of the jews and the muslims). Constantinople (after the ‘conversion’ of the orthodox church and once Turkey has disappeared as a nation) is also a good candidate as there there is part of the bones of Saint Peter there (donated by Bergoglio a few years ago: he was probably embarrassed to keep them in the Pauline Chapel). Moscow is also an option as, after the inclination of the terrestrial axis foreseen by Saint Lucy of Fatima, the city will likely be at a more temperate latitude…Only God knows, but I am almost certain that the Vatican will be destroyed as well as Rome.
         Saint Lucy of Fatima, in her diary recently published:

         Better not to be along a coastline, when the Angel will touch the earth axis…

         There is much to be seen, and suffered, in the near future, but afterward Peace and Justice will reign on earth.

         Let me also point out to other few date connections between Russia, Fatima, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and meteorites (terrestrial axis displacement).

         The two largest meteor explosions to have occurred in recent times appear to have a link to Russia and Fatima. The Tunguska explosion of June 30, 1908 is the largest impact event on earth in recorded history. It devastated an area very close to the geographic center of Russia. It occurred when it was becoming obvious that the young son of Tsar Nicholas II, Alexis, had hemophilia. It could be argued that his condition facilitated the fall of the Russian Empire and the rise of Communism, since many bad decisions were made because of it.

         August 13, 1917 was the last day that the Romanovs spent in their palace near St. Petersburg before becoming prisoners of the communist state. That was also the day that the Fatima seers were kidnapped by the Communist head of the local government (in fact, there was not an apparition in Fatima that day). July 13, 1918 was the day that the Romanovs were sentenced to death (without their knowledge), which was exactly one year to the day after the Third Secret and the warning about Russia were given by Our Lady at Fatima. The Romanov family was executed on July 16, 1918, which is the feast day of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, who appeared to Lucia alone on the day of the solar miracle at Fatima.

         The other meteor that concerns Russia and Fatima exploded above Chelyabinsk on Friday, February 15, 2013, the most powerful meteor explosion since the Tunguska event. Chelyabinsk is very close to Ekaterinburg, which is where the Romanovs were executed. That was also the day that Benedict XVI gave an address in the Hall of Popes just after anticipating to the Cardinals his ‘resignation’ (exile in impeded see) . Pope St. Pius X prophesied that a future Pope, having his same name (Joseph), would flee Rome and be killed in exile.

             Pope Benedict is in exile in the Vatican since more than 9 years ago. He could be in exile in Russia in the near future…it wouldn’t change substantially his current condition if he will continue the exile in Russia. As regards the reasons for which he could end up in Russia, if any, they might be related to a future invasion of part of Europe and of Italy by Russian troops.

             A priest friend of mine (a very reliable one, in my view) has recently had a night vision, for three time in a row and always at 3:00 AM. In the vision Russian armored vehicles were invading Italy from North East. There was no resistance: the Italian army did not have weapons any more to oppose the invasion (this might prove true: in fact, we are currently sending most of them to Ukraine!).

5. Hi Aviso. Love your site. I’m confused by your question about whether Conchita knows the year of the miracle (not just the date). I don’t recall the interview or source, but isn’t Conchita on record as having said something to the effect that “I will be an old woman” when I announce the miracle 8 days in advance? If she knew she will be an old woman when she announces the miracle, that means she knew the year, as well.

       if I am not wrong it has been circulated (on the internet, I am not sure if also on this Blog) a dialogue between a young Conchita and a foreign priest who was friends of her. Apparently, the priest was very curious about the date of the Miracle (being quite old, he wanted to know if he would be able to see it). The priest thus challenged the Seer proposing her to hazard the year of the Miracle: the agreement was that, he he was right, Conchita would have confirmed him. Apparently, the priest made many attempts (all the proposed years were before the year 2000). At a certain point, Conchita apparently suggested, laughing, to stop second guessing with years so close, because, she apparently said, she would be ‘very old’ (her words) at the time of the Miracle. The priest allegedly stop guessing, as he was pretty sure he would be be dead in such a long span of time (it seems that he had a medical condition and probably hoped to be healed the day of the Miracle).
       I wonder if some readers might provide the exact quotation and some more details about the episode.
       If the story is true Conchita, even if she would not know precisely the year, was aware that there were several years to wait for. In fact, simply knowing the exact day and month would be enough for Her to fulfill her Mission: the Miracle will happen on the first occurrence of such day/month after the Warning, which we all will be experiencing…

When she speaks of the miracle (from 10:12) she mentions an element which is rarely mentioned: “The great Miracle will be the supernatural comprehension, in divine light, of the intimate and fundamental reality of what the priesthood is and the Eucharist.”

My Comment : Video sent to me today via some of our readers, by the way and for the first time, I am watching a video from Glenn Hudson, well to me the Man looks good, typical Garabandalist talk with serious and conviction, this is a faithful of the Lady of Mount Carmel for sure, I recognize them within few minutes, we like or not, de facto we are in the same team, there is some mistakes in the video, the Famous I know for 30 Years, I was involved….etc….I do not know the interview Lady but she looks to me serious as well, let me end with 2 facts which I cannot confirm, The famous even or odd year for the Warning and that Conchita will be alive because she must announce the Great Miracle 8 days before, for the warning I debunked it already with Loli’s family, check online here, for the announcement we cannot be sure and even if the seer is not alive the Great Miracle will happen, de facto keep that in mind always, for the rest the Video is good and a must watch for our readers, thank you.

The term “announcement” can have many meanings in our day thanks to technology such as text messages, video messages, phoning in to scheduled television presentations, etc. I am certain that if the seer has any doubt about her mortality, she has already made a recording that could be broadcast over various communication outlets.

     • Well Tim let’s think about this logically with MOSTLY my opinion, sprinkled in w a fact or two. First, Even if Conchita made a recording( to my knowledge she has not) who would know when it’s 8 days before to release it?? No one knows just when that 8 days before is except Conchita. She was tasked by God/Blessed Mother to announce the Miracle 8 days in advance. When she was told of the date she said to the Angel, “no why only me? Why can’t it be with the others.” Obviously the simple answer is because that’s the way God wants it. Now us Garabandalists (with the exception of-IF- the 8 day announcement comes before the Warning happens-meaning that the 2 events are within the 8 days and the Warning which would be first, would happen at any time BEFORE the miracle in those 8 days-it would be obvious -IN my OPINION-NO) would know that after the Warning happens, we would know that the Miracle would be the very next April from when the Warning happened-between the 8th and the 16th on a Thursday) So in that scenario, if the seer is not alive-us Garabandalists would know-but in my OPINION, Conchita will be alive by being tasked by God to announce the Miracle date 8 days in advance. For the whole world -not just for people who follow Garabandal and knew about it for years like us! Her mission was given to her by God!

       And so it is! Keeping in mind, regardless of whatever happens in the future, good, bad or otherwise, as Aviso correctly states, the events, Warning and Miracle will happen. Peace!!

       • Thanks, John for the comment. I guess that I did not say the quiet part out loud. The assumption was if she was aware that her time was short, then she would entrust the recording (in some format) to someone trustworthy to release at the appropriate time (informing him/her with the date of the Miracle) or to release after the Warning if that event would occur eight days before the Miracle. Regardless, I agree that it is much more likely that she will be alive.
         Frankly, I do not know why the death of Joey would not represent the “falling away of belief” since most of my Catholic friends aware of the apparitions have totally abandoned their opinion of veracity after his death. Obviously, I do not follow their views. I knew Garabandal was true when I initially heard about it. It is difficult to explain.(the Holy Spirit?) I had the same experience when I first saw Francis step out at St Peter’s basilica in 2013 after the election. Somehow I knew there was something terribly wrong and turned off the television. Apologies to Francis fans on the blog, but I am not one of them.

                 • Hi Tim, yes I know him, he was appointed Bishop of Santander in 2015 by Francis that says all , he is not a friend of our Lady’s Apparitions in Garabandal and Garabandal depend of Rome, the dossier of the Apparitions was sent to Rome by his predecessor, de Facto Rome will have the last word, hopefuly not the current Rome, so this interview does not change anything, thank you.

                 In any case, we know that the Good will eventually prevail. A new, valid, Pope will be elected before the news of the death of the previous one is widespread. The catholic Church will win, with Our Lady and the Holy Sacrament, the Two Columns that will bring us to the safe harbour.

                 Your comment, Aviso, about Benedict being taken to Moscow is intriguing. It makes sense that God Almighty would bring an end to this nightmare in such a dramatic way. The gaslighting which Catholics have endured over the last 9+ years will require some event of this magnitude to cause them to recognize what has happened to the Vicar of Christ on Earth. If it coincides with the Warning and Miracle, then perhaps the Russian Orthodox hierarchy will be receptive to acknowledge the Pope as the successor of St. Peter.                      to me, you had a very brilliant intuition stating that, when Benedict XVI referred to be called to climb the mountain in his last Angelus on February 24th 2013, he was publicly identifying himself as the Pope of the secret of Fatima.
                     He obviously knows the secret in his entirety and he has been adamant about the fact that the secret itself has not been fulfilled so far!
                     Bergoglio is, thus, obviously, the fake pope that Saint Lucy of Fatima and the other seers described as similar to a pope (a pope “as in a mirror”).
                     Benedict XVI has even gone further in his identification of the characters of the message of Fatima when he stated, in his last interview with Peter Seewald, that “Bergoglio è un uomo riflessivo, un papa che riflette” (translation: “Bergoglio is a reflexive man, a pope who reflects””), REFLEXIVE…as in a MIRROR indeed!
                     In this case, however, Benedict XVI is likely the pope that will be killed by the soldiers when the Vatican will be invaded (I presume by Russian jointly with Islamic troops) as per the Fatima secret!
                     This would change substantially the most likely scenario for the future!

Here in the U.S., we have Patrick Coffin who promotes his thesis. Mr. Coffin has a fairly large audience and was interviewed on LifeSiteNews. I stopped donating to the latter because they still insist on referring to Bergoglio as the Pope, even though John Henry Westin has seemingly come to terms already with the facts. It is more gaslighting.

This is my own conclusion related to a talk I had years ago in Garabandal with a french lady who was a child during the Apparitions and close to the 4 seers with her sister who was present with the French group during a meeting in 1963 where one of the Garabandal seer did talked about the Eucharist Martyr related to the Garabandal great miracle day and celebrated on April 13. First you are correct that I have never been to Garabandal, but my excuse is a good one, I have seen the Village from the conversations with Conchita for the last 29 + years. And yes you may be correct that almost no one knows me there, except for Michael Hottinger, from the Pilgrim Center, and maybe Fr. Luis Saavedra who visits Garabandal for his thesis work. You are well know there, and have many friends there, this is true.

                 Next I have NEVER issued an opinion on Medjugorje because I have never studied it ! I have spent the last 29 years studying only Garabandal, as Joey asked me to concentrate all my energies on this on apparition, so I could do public talks without him. I even forbid talk of it on my FB page. That should prove my point.

                 I have not issued an opinion on Pope Francis. Conchita taught me long ago about obedience and to pray for ANYONE whom I may disagree with , for the Holy Spirit to influence them. I wish I could prove to you my long friendship with Conchita, but without revealing her personal information, it is nearly impossible. She does not like to have her photo taken as she is very humble and private, so I only have a few together, so I abide by not asking her. If you ever come to New York, I will personally set up a meeting with her to end this silly disagreement. Unless I am mistaken, upon reading Glenn’s material, he seems adamant that both the Warning and Miracle have to occur during an even year, apparently based on an old interview where Mari Loli stated that the Warning would occur in an even year and Glenn’s interpretation of the famous “the Miracle will occur within one year of the Warning” excluding the 12 month interpretation in favor of a calendar year approach. I notice that you stated above that the Warning could be in an even or odd year and many of us postulate that April 13, 2023 could be a real possibility for the Miracle date. Should we exclude odd years for either event?
                     Also, I am intrigued by the dual predictions regarding the Pope’s (whomever that may be) visit to Moscow.                      Hi Tim about the Pope seeing the Great Miracle from Russia, here is the likely scenario and my own investigation :

                     I confirm that I was told in the village of Garabandal years ago that the Pope will see the Great Miracle from Russia which is in opposition with the famous quote : “the Pope will visit Moscow upon return, hostilities will break out in different Parts of Europe”, according to what I have been told, this is another incomprehension of the source which was Albrecht Weber who was also a reader of my blog quoting Conchita, so both quote cannot be valid only one and in my opinion, The Pope seeing the Great Miracle from Moscow is probably the good one according to my own sources and the possible scenario below :

                     Our Lady of the Mount Carmel said that the Pope will go to Moscow, who can imagine today yet that Francis can visit Moscow, only a few obtuse blind people in my opinion, most of us are finally aware of heresies of Bergoglio, how is it possible that our Lady of the Mount Carmel could prophesy that Francis could be that Pope in question, this is not possible as simple as that, in no way an evil heretic can be considered as being able to be Pope and even less by Heaven, so Francis in Moscow not possible in my opinion and this is the probable scenario :

                     Because of the War in Ukraine where I was myself few months ago as everybody knows and because of the military aid of Western countries to the Ukrainian army, by delivering no longer defensive but offensive weapons especially from America via Poland, Russia will find itself in the obligation to attack and overwhelm a great part of Europe, Italy and the Vatican included, Francis will be killed by the Russian Army as we can see in the Fatima 3rd Secret Vision, Pope Benedict will be captured because very close to Kirill and he will be sent and protected in Moscow which explain why our Lady of the Mount Carmel did said that the Pope will see the Great Miracle from wherever he will be that time, de facto in Russia, unfortunately and after years of investigation especially about this topic, I cannot see any other possible scenario and will add that all should happen between September 2022 and April 2023, in other words before the next US election in 2024 probably to me, thank you.

9. Russia being stymied and being shown to be a weak military power in Ukraine. Turning into a bloody stalemate. This is not the warfare that would have occurred during the Cold War.        • Well yes the 2023 date is possible if it’s during the Synod but Per Mother Nieves comment it (the Synod) would happen first then shortly after it the Warning would happen. Time will tell. The Three Warning signs: (you know them) 1-when communism comes again-it’s here and will get worse-Conchita, Marl Loli & I Believe Jacinta all advised of that per The Blessed Mother. 2.The important Synod-Mother Nieves. From Conchita and of course originally from The Blessed Mother. 3 “When the Pope (a Pope) goes to Moscow and returns to Rome hostilities break out in Europe and all will happen.” The Blessed Mother.          • Look, this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. If you look online for the definition of a synod, such as the Catholic Answers website, it merely says that it is a “general term for ecclesiastical gatherings under hierarchical authority” https://www.catholic.com/encyclopedia/synod. Therefore, any of these preparatory gatherings in dioceses, nations, etc. as part of this Francis driven Synod on synodalities can be defined as a synod. Therefore, if the Germans have their national synod this fall and propose schismatic terms, I think it could fulfill the prediction of a pre warning event. At the same time, this annoying synodal process continues in the Church up to fall 2023 when Francis has his hand picked bishops ready to push more modernism through pre ordained doctrinal change masked as “worldwide consultation.” Since this process is ongoing, it could be considered the great Ecclesiastical event in the Church revealed by Conchita:

             The author here suggests that the prophecy of the visit of the ‘pope’ to ‘Russia’ might have been fulfilled on 25 February 2022, the day after Russia invaded Ukraine, when the pope broke any diplomatic protocol and went to the Russian Embassy in Rome, breaking any diplomatic protocol, in order to stress the peculiarity and urgency of such visit:

                 Sorry to step in in this very interesting discussion, but I would like to stress that Conchita prediction about Joey seeing the Miracle might have been right.
                 Please consider the following example (a true fact): San Padre Pio very often knew the future of people. One day, a devote lady asked him about what would happen to a relative suffering from cancer. Padre Pio, without any doubt, answered “Jesus said to me that tomorrow he will be well”. The day after, the concerned person died (and probably went directly to Heaven). Did Padre Pio know the truth? (Nobody knows). Was the prediction false? (No, provided that the person was saved).
                 About Joey: usually the souls do not see what happens on earth, unless God allows them to. What if Joey will be permitted exceptionally to see the Miracle from where he is now? May that day be the one in which he will end his Purgatory and come to Heaven? Nobody can tell, but he might very well be allowed to see the Miracle he desired to see so much during his mortal lifetime!
                 Some believer has been confused? Probably, but the question is: were they true believers or people with a week faith moved by simple curiosity and skepticism?

                 • Very true! Only God knows the answer to that question. Joey himself believed he would see again on the day of the Miracle. He would joke around and say often, “I’ll be old when the Miracle happens. When it does I’ll need glasses!” 😊 But seriously, what did Conchita actually say from Blessed Mother to Joey: “On the day of the Miracle you will receive new eyes.” We assumed it meant when he was on this earth. Only God and Blessed Mother know for sure of what that statement meant and means. I’m sure Joey is in Heaven. I miss him everyday. But Most importantly us true Garabandalists, including you Aviso, are not shaken whatsoever by this. We know regardless, the Warning and Miracle will happen anyway. 10. My wife and I did a a trip to northern Spain 10 years ago. I noted atrip to Garabandal but my guide book showed no normal transport connections. We got back next year all pre-planned to Oviedo and saw the Sudarium and then again the September before Covid and there was a mad festival highlighting one of the apostles. The cider was fantastic , loved the pouring but not tbe spill. I totally digress on the activity of yeast. The pollen from the Crown of Thorns (flowers in April around Jerusalem) is in the fibres of the cloth and the one in Turin. There are lots of amazing facts linking the two clothes. For our Protestant neigbours the sripture: Jn:20:06 and 07. All the other resident pollen in the clothes matches their Journey’s from Jerusalem. CSIJ. The amazing thing about the Shroud is the image. More amazing: the image is not in the fibres but a radiation that hovers above the fibres. Reason ru s witb faith. Meanwhile in Ireland: we got tbe Staff of Jesus. Destroyed: Christchurch, Dublin 1538 by the orders of English King Henry …so well done for you with your rocky road to Garabandal and the Mountains that saved you from the “Holy War” and then the retaking of Toledo etc . . While we are down that far…forget the film..the Holy Grail is in Valencia thanks to St Lawrence in Rome and in Malaga a picture of St Paul executed near TreFontaine , in the Cathedral. I went in a circle. Any connection with Trefontaine and Garabandal. There has been massive activity by the Mother of God here. It does link to Abortion.     • How could it be that 03/2020 is the start of the last 3.5 years? You are going too fast I think. Considering that we are not yet witnesses of the appearance of the antichrist on the international scene and that this one is supposed to appear when the situation will be on the verge of chaos and restore peace. And then he will take the head of the world government only 3.5 years after his appearance and to govern only 3.5 years before being dismissed and struck down by the simple breath of Jesus in glory back with his church.       Marie said the warning would come when the situation was at its worst. So probable that it is quite close or simultaneous with the appearance of the antichrist, in any case of world upheavals which will generate his appearance. This one restoring peace, will not appear as antichrist but a fine and charismatic diplomat and will even be recognized then – wrongly – by the Jewish people like the true Messiah (after having rejected Jesus).

      So 2023 for the return of Jesus seems impossible to me. On the other hand, 2029 is already more plausible to make room for the facts to happen.

        You should probably reconsider carefully the contribute/interview by Bishop Athanasius Schneider that Aviso recently published on this blog. I know personally Mons Schneider (he also gave the Sacrament of Confirmation to my daughter in 2014): he has grown up during Communism and have experienced the worst horrors of it (you can check the Wikipedia entry on him https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athanasius_Schneider, even if it doesn’t report some personal and family tragedies he suffered because of Communism I am aware of). He certainly did not speak out for sensationalism! He would not speak about the Mark of the Beast (which is, from the Holy Bible, essentially what the antichrist will mandate) if he was not sure about it (as I am): he is a spiritual warrior, enlightened by the Holy Spirit and burning of love for the Eucharist: he is aware that what the World will soon face is much worse than Communism, an moreover on a global scale.

        I am French and have been reading you for quite some time now. I arrive at exactly the same conclusion by cross-checking the information with the prophecies of Jahenny in particular. Due to the situation in France with social movements for a few years, yellow vests and now against the health pass, and because they will want to continue their agenda for NGOs, I think they will probably fake the elections, can-being using electronic votes (like USA) because of a 4th or 5th “wave” and new containment.             Yes, there are some restrictions relating to the (various) vaccines out there, but they differ greatly by country and sometimes by region. I would have assumed the Mark would be of universal power, regardless of one’s location.
            Personally, I know many that are unvaccinated and they are surviving happily in society.
            I myself will be returning to office work next month and there is no obligation on anybody to reveal their medical history or vaccination status.
            I’m interested to hear your thinking on the above.

    My Friends, My opinion was asked about a person called online Miles Mariae and his videos about Garabandal, well I know him via emails and I was in touch with him few months ago, by the way I did not had time to watch his video until Peter contacted me recently about him, I watched 3 Vidéos only, the one I published in one of my article on this blog (I do not remember in which article) which was a recording of the seers voice, a good vidéo by the way, and 2 other vidéos today about Garabandal a continuation of Fatima and Garabandal Vatican 2, well these video are based on books only without any verification and badly made, these videos represent the opinion of the author only which is not a Garabandalist even if he went to the village as a pilgrim only according to what I have been told from the village, I am very unhappy with these videos, many important details are missing, so I must correct it in public and reconfirm that Garabandal is of course a continuation of Fatima, we know it from Bishop Venancio, nothing less than the Bishop of Fatima for years, he met the Garabandal seers himself without talking about the Meeting between Sister Lucia and Conchita as well…etc….., the same about his video of Vatican 2, here as well many errors, own opinion and interpretatiton based on some Garabandal books, confirming that our Lady of the Mount Carmel did praised the Council of Vatican 2 is a common and known mistake already used in the past by amateurs of all kinds posing as garabandalists, as we know most of them are readers of books about garabandal and nothing more in the end, so nothing serious with Miles Mariae videos and by the way he should contact me before publishing them online, because he is himself a reader of our blog for years as well, thank you.

The selective presentation of the certain pieces of information critical of Garabandal while at the same time excluding other crucially important detailed evidence in support of Garabandal suggests planning or perhaps an objective to undermine Garabandal. Incidentally, I met Fr. Higgins here in San Sebastián de Garabandal twice. We spoke at length and exchanged correspondence. In fact, I once sent him a gold mine of information; somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 to 50 pages of facts in support of the direct connection between Fatima and Garabandal. So, he can’t say – “I didn’t know.”
      For this reason, this writer has concluded that Fr. Mark Higgins (aka Miles Mariae) is a false friend of Garabandal.

    • Hi Sean, I wouldn’t associate any natural event with the Warning, even if such occurred by coincidence it would not be relevant. Everything written and reiterated here has made quite clear the event in totality is a supernatural one coming directly from God. If it were not that, (supernatural) it would be reasonable to assume the event has little relevance other than the outcome of a natural disaster that shakes everybody up without effecting any conversion.

        • Dear Sean you’ve made some massive leaps in the hypothetical to create a link with this asteroid and the Garabandal Warning/Miracle. Anything that can be explained by science will not be of ‘The’ Warning, just as the Sign to remain at the Pines will not be explainable using science. To equate the Divine Warning with anything of the natural order is to have missed the very essence of the Divine Intent and by implication reduce it’s significance in the narrative of Salvation History.

          If you return to the Garabandal source material you will be reminded of these facts.

    • Sean, the 13 April date referred by Aviso pertains to the miracle, not the warning. If Pedro Regis’ locution is legitimate, an interesting possibility for a warning event would be Good Friday 2023 (April 7) which would fit nicely into Aviso’s theory that the warning would precede the miracle by only about a week or less. Finally, April 7 30 AD has been considered as one of the two actual dates of the crucifixion (the other being April 3 33 AD.) based on biblical and historical data.

      • I have detailed a possible connection between the warning and april 13 in a post below tim. I can understand where aviso is coming from with the miracle and april 13 connection with possibly only days between the warning and miracle. If the warning happens well before the miracle then everyone will know the date of the miracle and there will be no need for any 8 day announcement. None of us know for sure how the warning will affect the world or what state the world will be in at that time. There is going to be a lot going on that people will struggle to accept and things are going to get really bad going into all of this. I am just presenting my findings here and you guys can come to your own conclusions. I firmly believe that this information will help people even if it is rejected now.

        • No the warning is not a few days before the miracle; it will be weeks or months; and it does need to be announced, some people may guess the date of the miracle after the warning but we still cant be sure the miracle will happen until Conchita announces it and even then we cant be sure until it acutally happens, it needs to be formally announced by Conchita.

          • Pat, your comment about “weeks and months” contradicts the opinion of Aviso, so you should take it up with him. Your theory that the miracle may not happen even after a warning event and subsequent announcement of the miracle by Conchita would seem to defy reason assuming that the Garabandal visions are authentic. An announcement by Conchita 8 days prior to the miracle, with the warning occurring within that window, would be a valid possibility since the announcement would be a surprise for the world rather than an anticlimactic pronouncement.
            Finally, I am curious about Aviso’s comment in #15 above about Conchita’s announcement of the miracle and “inside information.” Would it be beyond the realm of possibility that her announcement has been prerecorded in case she dies before that time? Certainly her death would seem to permanently discredit the apparitions and contribute to the vast disbelief predicted before the events unfold. Aviso’s allusion to Joey Lomagino in #15 has me pondering that possibility….

      • Yes Claudio, my french source is very good, those are 2 french sisters, living in Garabandal for years, both lived the Apparitions and were close to the 4 seers, they played with the seers before and after the Apparitions, as any children playing together, the 4 seers did talked to their friends about the Lady, the first sister has almost the same age of the seers, she was in the french group when Conchita talked about the Eucharist Martyr, the second sister, younger was the one I met, I spent almost 3 hours with her that day, she was introduce to me by Amalia, Loli’s sister and with her husband, they are my wedding witnesses when I married in the village, so a second mother for me, Amalia told me that she knew some details about the Apparitions so I met her and she gave me that important detail about April 13, which is probably the good date because I of course checked that date with others in the village as well and got a kind of confirmation, by the way I am aware of that possible date for years but before I never thought it could be the good one as the Eucharist Martyr celebrated by the church that day is Saint Hermenegild, till the day I found out using my good relations in south of America via some of our readers there, that Saint Tarcisius was celebrated on April 26 there, information which I published online via my first blog and then copied as usual everywhere….etc….

        Any way, I can confirm at least for me, that April 13 2023 is to date, the best possible day for the Great Miracle but will not forget to remind to our readers that I was always wrong in the Past about dates, below a short reminder of my work via garabandal news (1st and second blogs) :

22. Here is another thought that I have been pondering for the last few weeks: Joey Lomangino is dead (June 18, 2014) and Benedict XVI (the 3rd pope actually 4th pope) is no longer Pope. Which means the date/month/year that Conchita only knew for the Miracle HAS COME AND GONE between April 19, 2005 and February 28, 2013.

This is written in mid-July, a week after Francis I put his foot down on the Latin Mass, reversing Pope Benedict’s Summorum Pontificum, and, 4 months after he issued a stance on same-sex unions. He has performed his plus/minus things but no matter how you see it, we are unlike 1950 or 2005, in a most auspicious Catholic era ever seen, internally and externally. Conchita overall is in her 70s, and I do firmly believe in her and also that she will be the one to announce “the warning” but grasp 4 other historical gems of knowledge in addition to the start of the synod (Oct 2021) which are the timing to St Malachy of Ireland and the letter of Nostradamus {whose real name is Michael of Our Lady in English} to his King Henry II June 27, 1558 in which spelled what has to come first before the “last times”, a v large solar eclipse, which namely occurred Aug 11, 1999 NO OTHER ECLIPSE OF SUCH A MAGNITUDE IS forthcoming UNTIL Sep 23, 2090 or Oct 7, 2135 that encompasses all of Europe and which by then Conchita will be long buried:: Gem #1. After the unusual solar eclipse which precedes the arrival of an Antichrist there will be the arrival of someone who will be one from the 50th degree who will renovate the entire Christian Church that WHICH precedes the A/C. Gem #2.       • Well if you studied it before many of us were even born you should know that Conchita will not be announcing the date for the warning, she will be announcing the date for the miracle. No one will be announcing the warning

23. I have been thinking for many years about the prophecies of Garabandal… There are some questions that I think are important to discuss…
    After having analyzed (and having been wrong) I believe that the real interpretation about the “prophecy of the Popes” is to understand it as a “clock” that can have THREE meanings:

    1) Benedict XVI as the last valid Pope before the “Warning” and for some future reason does NOT recognize Francis as a valid Pope.

    2) Pope Francis dies before Benedict XVI.

    3) The key is in the life time of Benedict XVI: when he dies everything would be close.

    Regarding the “Miracle” I think it is very likely that, if the information that the day is “April 13”, then it can only be in 2023 or 2034, for the simple fact that those years are not “Holy Thursday”.
    For me, taking into account these two factors, I think that in 2023 everything arrives.

    • I agree also. But I feel that there has been as much misinterpretation of the 3 pope prophesy as there was with the padre pio witness prophesy. I now believe that the children interpreted the information slightly wrong (no fault on the children, just their age and processing the info). It makes more sence now that there will be 3 popes LIVING at the time of the time of fulfillment of the events; eg, Benedict (currently resigned retired), Francis (soon to resign retired), and a new future pope (unknown at this time). All living at the time of the events.

        Conchita was clearly referring to the number of popes reigning before the « end of times ». If you know the context, you should acknowledge that she spoke in fact about 4 popes, one of which Our Lady did not count due to the extremely short reign. Moreover Conchita almost involuntarily revealed this detail the very day pope John XXIii died, which implies that we will not fully enter the « end of times » until the only living legitimate pope, Benedict XVI, is still alive.

    • I think much of the confusion is from the change in the calendar of the feast days. I went over everything in your latest post yesterday, did my best to research the appropriate feast day, saint, changed my mind overnight and now seem to be comfortable with April 13 2023. I hope I’m wrong, that doesn’t leave much time. The warning could then be as early as April 2022.

        • Hi Pat, Not many seem to know that the warning is supposed to follow a synod. That too is a bit confusing since the Pope has announced a new format. And Italy is doing a follow on synod, so the end date of the synod per se is not clear. In any case,the reason I’m fixated on this topic, and have been for years, I’m living in a coastal area, trying to relocate to a safer area before major events. Locutions say we’ll have time after the warning but at that point it sounds more like a fire drill than a move; pick up your backpack and go. The news in the US every day is exponentially worse. Im pretty sure the next synod is the one before the warning; the end part where the bishops meet is October 2023; but essentially it is opening in October of 2021 this year (its a two year synod process) I think the schism mentioned by Conchitas brother Serafin will happen during the middle of the synod in 2022 and then the warning in February 2023 and the miracle on the 13th april 2023. Prophecy talks about schism related to something coming out of the synod. I think it’s going to be something obvious to us all, like changing the interpretation of the Eucharist to be like the Protestants.               In response to your comment, may I in the first instance suggest your approach is flawed from the the very outset. It is the case because like many before you, you have elected to base your ideas on nothing other than a cross word puzzle approach following a clue consisting of a singular letter; the letter ‘A.’ In doing so you have fallen in to the trap of wrongly assuming that, what is to take place is of a natural, scientifically explainable event. Notably to even follow the line that somehow the Warning involves the impact of an asteroid with the Earth is to have overlooked the fact that the Warning is not meant to physically hurt us, that none can die from it directly, ‘unless as if in shock,’ but that effect is only a speculation of the Seers not a statement from Our Lady.

              If you wish to give serious and diligent consideration to the wonderful messages of Garabandal and prepare spiritually to both witness and endure events prophesied, then my recommendation is to revert always to source material. That material should be from either the Seers themselves, filmed or attested to by reputable witnesses, or those who interviewed the seers, have studied source material and have written extensively in an honest and objective manner. Any purported expert that makes statements, movies, or writes in a contrary manner to the evidence is nothing other than a deceiver and as such should be ignored and robustly refuted.

              In regard to the Warning, I offer the following facts. When your comment is placed in context with these facts, I hope you will realise that your particular view point ought to be reassessed.

              My Point 1. The Warning was first revealed to Conchita on January 1st 1965. Conchita, from 1965 onward has been explicit about the visible aspect of the warning, for example;

              Evidence 1. Joseph A Pelletier, A.A. refers the reader to 18 questions submitted by friends to Conchita on 14th September 1965 of which four relate to the Warning, (I have extracted the pertinent question and answer from a first edition copy of Our Lady Comes to Garabandal Including Conchita’s Diary, page 148, published 1971).
              Q. Will the Warning be a visible thing or an interior thing or both?
              A. The Warning is a thing that comes directly from God and will be visible throughout the entire world, in whatever place anyone might be.

              Evidence 2. Refer to Francisco Sanchez-Ventura book Las Apariciones no Son un Mito 1965 page 251, or the English translation of the book page 179. Therein Conchita states “What I do know is that it will be visible to everybody.” Joseph A Pelletier translates the Spanish as “I know it will be visible all over the world.” (Page 147 Our Lady Comes to Garabandal Including Conchita’s Diary).

              Evidence 3. Mr and Mrs Robert Froelich from the state of New York interviewed Conchita in October 1968 and asked.
              Q. We have heard that some say the Warning may be a natural phenomenon but will be used by God to speak to mankind?
              A. The Warning is something supernatural and will not be explained by science. It will be seen and felt.

              Furthermore Conchita having once again been asked about any physical aspects to the Warning the answer has been;
              (Conchita), No. To me, it’s like two stars… that crash and make a lot of noise and a lot of light but they don’t fall… It’s something that’s not going to hurt us but we’re going to see it.

              Note Conchita says “it’s like” not “it is.”

              My Point 2: If you had done your research and stuck to the evidence yourself then you would not have drawn the conclusions you did.

              Evidence 4: I refer you to the statement in Evidence 3 above. The Warning is something supernatural and will not be explained by science.

              Evidence 5: “The Warning will be recognised and accepted by the world as a direct sign from God.” (Answer to questions submitted to Conchita on September 14th 1965 by Joey Lomangino and several friends) My source, God Speaks at Garabandal first edition copy 1970 signed by Joseph A. Pelletier.

              Clearly, if science can explain the event, how will it then be accepted by an atheistic world as being a ‘direct sign from God?’

              Evidence 6: The Mr and Mrs Robert Froelich 1968 interview with Conchita, also included the question;
              Q. Conchita what about the many people who do not know Christ; how will they understand the Warning?
              A. For those who do not know Christ (non-Christian) they will believe it is a warning from God.

              In conclusion: Conchita has been very candid in public about the nature of the visible aspects of the Warning, even from 1965 when she first received the Message from Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Secondly, she has also from the beginning been explicit about the supernatural aspect of the Warning. The assertions you present in your post are simply wrong. The content of your comments is therefore misleading and the authority you claim, particularly in asserting Garabandal is somehow inextricably linked to unfounded astronomical events, is entirely baseless.

              Opinion and questions are very welcome, but please do take to heart the advice given when it is offered by those who have been involved in and researched the subject over many decades.

    • Aviso can confirm, but nobody said that they must be a year apart, but that they could be as far as a year apart. Certainly the Miracle and Warning could be much closer than a year.

32. Ratzinger’s unequivocal text: “I have not abdicated”.

    If a pope does not abdicate, there cannot be another conclave. Bergoglio would be invalid. We would not have two popes, but “half”: a pope without practical exercise of power.

    “There is only one pope,” Benedict XVI has been repeating for eight years, without ever explaining which one is which.

    Perhaps he can not say; nevertheless, we have located a text where Ratzinger clarifies that although he, with the 2013 Declaratio, “resigned” by renouncing the “ministerium” (the practical functions), he has not at all “abdicated”, on the other hand, the divinely created title of pope: the “munus.” — Words are important: resigning is giving up functions, abdicating is giving up the title of a sovereign.

    Boring “clerical legalisms,” as Bergoglio says? — No. This is a huge problem – one that is carefully avoided in public debate – because if a living pope does not abdicate, by completely laying aside the munus, another conclave cannot be called. Even from a theological point of view, the Holy Spirit does not direct the election of the pope in an illegitimate conclave. The “Pope Francis” therefore, would never have existed, he would only be a “bishop dressed in white”, as in the Third Secret of Fatima, and no one further, in his line of succession, would be a true pope. — It is therefore worth applying ourselves to the question.

    But let me show you the documented proof. In his “Last Conversations” (Garzanti 2016,), the book-length interview by Peter Seewald of Pope Benedict XVI, the journalist asks: “With you, for the first time in the history of the Church, a pontiff in the full and effective exercise of his functions has resigned from his “office”. Was there an inner conflict over the decision?” (p. 26)

    Benedict replied, “It’s not that simple, of course. No pope has resigned for a thousand years, and even in the first millennium this was an exception: so such a decision must be pondered at length. For me, however, it appeared so obvious that there was no painful inner conflict.”

    An absurd statement if we understand the word “resignation” in the common and simple sense that we use in the English language. For in the last thousand years (1016-2016) there have been no less than four popes who have renounced the throne, (including the famous Celestine V in 1294) and, in the first millennium of the papacy (33-1033), there were six others. — Perhaps, then, Ratzinger does not know the history of the Church so well?

    Yet, his sentence makes perfectly coherent sense if we understand that “resigning” (from the ministerium, as Ratzinger did) does not at all entail “abdicating” (from the munus). The – vaguely confusing – distinction between munus and ministerium was formalized at the canonical level in 1983, but it is entirely functional for Benedict XVI to get across a very clear message.

    He, in fact, is not talking about popes who have abdicated, but about those who have resigned like him, that is, those who have abandoned the ministerium, without abdicating.

    It all makes sense: the “exception” of the first millennium of which Ratzinger speaks is that of Benedict VIII — known in life as Theophylact of the Counts of Tusculum — who, having been ousted in 1012 by the antipope Gregory VI, had to give up for a few months the ministerium, the exercise of power, but did not lose the munus of pope, much so that he was then reinstated on the throne by German Emperor Henry II. In the second millennium, however, no pope has ever renounced only the ministerium, while four popes have, however, abdicated, giving up the munus (and, consequently, also the ministerium).

    Consulted on this historical question, Dr. Francesco Mores, professor of Church History at the University of Milan confirmed it, saying: “There is indeed this difference between the first and the second millennium. The decisive junction is the “Gregorian” reform (of 1073). Although in conflict with the secular powers, the popes of the second millennium always maintained a minimum of practical exercise of their power, unlike very few cases in the first millennium: Pontian, Silvester, but, above all, Benedict VIII”.

    Ratzinger is clearly telling us that he had to renounce the ministerium like his ancient, homonymous predecessor: if Benedict XVI did it voluntarily, and Benedict VIII did it forcibly, neither of them ever abdicated the munus. If it were not so, how could Ratzinger say, as he did, that no pope has resigned in the second millennium, or that a papal resignation in the first millennium was an exception?

    We can cite another proof of this, from Seewald’s other book-length interview of Benedict: “Ein Leben”. On page 1204, Benedict XVI distances himself from Celestine V, who legally abdicated in the second millennium (1294), saying: “The situation of Celestine V was extremely peculiar and could in no way be invoked as (my) precedent.” !

    Also in Ein Leben, we note that the word “abdication” appears eight times – nine in the German edition (“Abdankung”) – and is never used in reference to Ratzinger, but only to popes who really abdicated, or who wanted to do it seriously, such as Pius XII to escape the Nazis. For Ratzinger, on the other hand, there is only talk of resignation (“Ruecktritt”).

    Today, therefore, we would not have “two popes”, but only “half”: Benedict XVI, devoid of practical power. For this reason, he continues to wear white (although without a the mozzetta), to sign P.P. (Pontifex Pontificum), to live in the Vatican and mysteriously enjoy other papal prerogatives.

    Are there any other explanations?

    The question can not be passed over lightly: 1,285,000,000 Catholics are entitled to certain and transparent answers: a press conference by Pope Benedict, for example, or a synod with public discussion between bishops and cardinals appointed before 2013.

    A clarification should not be delayed.

So one night while the family was in the kitchen of the house, he said to Conchita, “You will have to tell us once and for all what this is all about; we can’t go on like this. And don’t be afraid of what will happen . . . I’m ready to take you away from the village and bring you anywhere

    you want. If you want to go to school, we can arrange that too . . . But we have to know the truth. All these things about the apparitions: Are they true, or are they something that you made up?” Conchita replied that it was true, that she had seen the Virgin, that it wasn’t something that the girls made up, and that there was no reason to leave the village . .

    The matter remained that way during the night. But the next day, while Serafín was in the kitchen and his sister upstairs, he heard her call him, “Serafín! Come up a minute.” The man told me he felt as if his heart missed a beat as he thought, “There it is! She has finally made up her mind. She must have thought about this all night long and is going to tell me that it has all been a fraud.”

    —“What do you want?” He asked her on arriving upstairs.

    —“So that you can see that all this is true, the Virgin has told me to tell you this . . .”

    And she talked to him about the Miracle, and explained in what it was going to consist. Later Conchita wrote it down briefly on the back of a holy card of the Child Jesus, which Serafín keeps concealed and which none of the family have seen. And she told him that it would occur when a definite event in the Church [“un determinado acontecimiento en la Iglesia”] took place, and she also explained it to him. Only in this way does Serafín know the date of the miracle. Later Serafín and I discussed the following excerpt from a leaflet written by Dr. Puncernau: During one of my trips to the pastures, I was alone with Serafín and we were eating in the barn. After eating, I tried to draw him out since it was said that he knew from Conchita when the Warning would be. I [Dr. Puncernau] drew the conclusion that if he [Serafín] knew, he didn’t want to say. The only thing that I got definitely from him was that it would be preceded by a special happening in the Church. After many questions and answers, it seemed clear to me from his vague remarks that it would be something like a schism. That is the way I understood it.

    —“And what do you say about Dr. Puncernau’s opinion?” I [Fr. Eusebio Garcia de Pesquera] asked Serafín.

    —“He is free to think what he wants. But I don’t think I gave him reasons for such an opinion.”

    —“But will this happening actually be a schism in the Church?”

    —“I have nothing to say.”

    “During that May of 1976, I [Father Eusebio Garcia de Pesquera] spoke also with Jacinta’s mother, María. She told me that she had heard repeatedly from her daughter that affairs were going to go very bad for the Church, that the Eucharist would constantly be given less importance, that many priests would become worse and worse, and that wickedness would spread everywhere.         • Hi Pat, April 13th 2028 was an article from my good friend and moderator Peter not mine, a great article but with that missing important detail, the famous NOT on Holy Thursday and as you said it is the case in 2028 so not Possible.

          Now let me give a Warning here, the private detail given to me in Garabandal years ago about April 13 as the good day for the Great Miracle, given to me by that french source must be taken with caution always, we had already a bad experience in Garabandal with that date, it was exactly on April 13th 1995 (Holy thursday that year) when 1000s of people went to Garabandal thinking that it was the good day creating a mess in the village to such an extent that the local police had to intervene, a very bad experience told to me in the village that year of 2012 when I got that news about April 13 as well.

          Of course since 2012 I tried to get more details which I got, by the way I was never a great supporter of April 13 but today and due to some recent new details, it could be in my opinion, the good day finally and in my opinion only but I said it already, I am not expert on Garabandal dates, quite the contrary so CAUTION, thank you.

          As noted in my Article’s 16th November 2018 Update (…cant believe it was that long ago now!)

          “…., I wanted to stress that if there is absolute confirmation linked only to credible verifiable statements from Conchita that the Great Miracle won’t take place on a Feast Day of the Lord, then Holy Thursday is to be ruled out as a candidate. I state this because some have debated whether Holy Thursday is in fact deemed a formal Feast of the Lord by the Church or, is it rather a feast of the Easter Triduum, specifically the Institution of the Holy Eucharist. Not by my own authority, but by that of Bishop J Strickland, following our recent correspondence, I can confirm that “[Holy Thursday] is the Liturgical celebration of the Lords action instituting the Eucharistso it is therefore both, He is the Eucharist and the Eucharist is him.” On subsequently seeking further clarity that it is formally a Feast of the Lord, Bishop J Strickland immediately replied “Correct.” To reiterate a point made earlier, none of the Holy Thursday dates [in the article] would apply in this case. If the linked Saint and Martyr is St. Hermenegild [and Holy Thursday categorically ruled out as advised] then the date will still be the 13th April but the year could be either, 2023, 2034 or 2045, the latter two being less likely due to Conchita’s age.”

          If as Aviso suggests, the 13th April is a good candidate, then it means that either the Martyr in Question is St Hermenegild or that the 13th is a Feast day to be shared between St Hermenegild and St Tarcisius.

          2034 could still be a candidate of course as Conchita will be 84, which these days is not as ‘old’ as it was once considered.

              Hermenegild’s martyrdom is formally recognised and celebrated by the Church on the 13th April every year, if the Miracle occurs on the 13th April then it de-facto coincides with his Feast day. To not be on his feast day then the miracle will not occur on the 13th of April

              Interestingly his mother is French, his Father Spanish.

                  • I dont understand what you mean martyr is not st hermenegild, I dont undertstand why people are thinking its him, there are a tonne of other saints on the 13th and it could be any of them or st. tarcisius, conchita described what sound like tarcisius; here it is; On a day in September of 1963, some French people were invited to eat dinner with Conchita in a house near the girl’s home. She was devouring pastries with the healthy appetite of girls of her age. Someone jokingly asked her about the sacrifices and penance mentioned in the message. Conchita accepted the joke in good humor and laughed. But suddenly she became quiet and seemed to concentrate; her face lit up; and with her hands joined on her chest, she began to speak:

                    «The Miracle will be on the feastday of a young martyr of the Eucharist, a boy who carried Communion to persecuted Christians. His companions, on seeing him pass by, wanted to force him to stay and take part in their games. Infuriated by his resistance, they ended up hurling stones at him until he was left almost dead. Later a Christian soldier came, who recognized him and carried him in his arms.

                    One of those present exclaimed: Oh, that’s St. Tarcisius!»

                    Conchita, without saying a word, as if she hadn’t heard, turned back to her pastries.

                      That was the house I visited myself in 2012 for rent, it is in that house that these French met Conchita and where they talked about the Great Miracle and the Eucharist Martyr with the seer, I have been able to get the calendar in question as well, we can read on that calendar only 1 Eucharist Martyr celebrated in April and between the range dates, St Hermenegild only but the description of the seer does not match that Eucharist Martyr, the explanation given to me is that St Tarcisius is probably died on April 13 as well but not indicated in the calendar in April as his exact day of death is uknown by the Church so Conchita went to check that detail on her own home calendar for confirmation and read St Hermengild only, that’s probably the good story. In other words, the Lady did gave to us and via her seer, the description of the Martyr in Question, knowing of course that his feast day via the Church is celebrated on August 15th, her Assumption day, so no one could know the correct day of the great miracle until (maybe) they understood it one day, therefore everyone will be able to privilege the Garabandal messages more than the prophecies, which is what the seers did not stop repeating all their life to us, the Messages first then the Rest, which is what we have to do always.

                    • Hi Aviso, The feast days of martyrs is usually the date of their death but not always, (tarcisius most likely died april 13th and not april 26th, vatican did not know the date of his death so gave it april 26th) it is not hermenegild, I dont know where that came from; also the calendar detail is false I think. Someone in the French group probably asked Conchita after she described tarcisius what is the date for the eucharistic martyr and Conchita probably said April 13th, and asked them not to speak of it further(they promised)

                    • So yes Aviso; Tarcisius died April 13th and his feast day was given April 26th by Rome and then moved to August 15th later on, the best feast day for a saint is the date of their death so April 13th is the proper date for Tarcisius I think and he has some part to play in the miracle, i.e carrying communion (just my own thought). thanks;

                    • Hi Aviso, Conchita knew the date of the miracle before she was in the kitchen with the French group and knew it was on the date of a eucharist martyr also; so then that is how she knew the date of the eucharist martyr is April 13th (miracle is April 13th in Conchita’s head and then she said that to the French group who asked her what is the feast date of the eucharist martyr Conchita and she said April 13th to them ; she inferred celebration date for the eucharist martyr from the date of the miracle, not the calendar in her kitchen (maybe she did look at the calendar but Tarcisius not on it); thanks

            God bless all visitors here, whom, I am sure manage to console Our Lady of Mt Carmel and her Divine Son, Our Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, with all the discussion points.
            Something that keeps coming at me when visiting here is that the Warning/Illumination will tell us the Miracle is coming “soon”.
            And I think of the ‘chosen people’, in the desert, who so quickly lost faith when Moses, was away, up the mountain, with Almighty God – they made a golden calf to worship! Really! I just don’t understand that.
            Let’s not forget who was behind that however and the understanding makes an appearance!
            What worries me now is that even after the Warning/Illumination, mankind will still not accept our suffering Redeemer and his suffering Virgin Mother.
            A repeat of the golden calf, methinks!!!
            And then I read various lives of the saints and their conversations, particularly with Our Lord, and the repeated messages are belief and confidence in Him can achieve anything including what man cannot comprehend! In other words we are able to achieve goals that we don’t even know about!
            How is that? Obvious answer is – “Man, what does he know? Far less than he thinks!”
            Penitential Rosaries, devotions to Our Lady Of The Seven Sorrows as well as The (true) Mass, Holy Communion, all the sacraments, the Rosary, etc. That’s a lot of armaments!!!
            Just this past week I discovered a St Gemma Galvani. I’d never heard of her before.
            Her motto was ………. “Gemma is good for nothing. But Gemma and Jesus and His Holy Mother The Virgin Mary can do all things!”
            So it is clear that if we individually embrace Our Lady of Mt Carmel and Her Divine Son we can achieve anything including things we are incapable of comprehending.
            To me Gemma Galvani could easily have been a resident of Garabandal in the 1960s!
            Just a thought!
            May Our Lady of Mt Carmel circumvent all golden calf devotees after the Warning/Illumination and before the miracle so that conversions at the miracle, thanks to her, send satan where he needs to stay for eternity.

              I think many have an intuition that we are close to significant events whether; geopolitical, social, ecclesiastical or supernatural. Much will happen and conclude between the years 2021 and 2034, of that, I am sure.

              If I remember correctly Conchita when asked back in the 60s was of a similar opinion to yours in that she was not sure mankind will change sufficiently after the Warning and Miracle to avert the Chastisement. I guess we will see, but I suppose it’s not ours to be anxious about, nothing must disturb our peace. I don’t know how it is with yourself, but for me, it’s enough fighting against my own inordinate desires and keep them in check than to also worry about everyone else.

              Faith and trust in God our Father is sufficient for us if we will let go of our desire to control and manage everything ourselves. I started reading Windswept House by Malachi Martin and read there-in a very pertinent statement relating to complete faith, it said:

              “Life was either totally penetrated by God’s providence – to be perceived by divine faith, accepted by human reason and chosen by the will – or it wasn’t.”

              The key phrase being ‘totally penetrated.’ I think sometimes we only hold the narrowed view that God’s providence is selective in our lives, that the rest outside of our direct influence, our own will, is either coincidence or bad/good luck.

              One practical example I apply in my own way, of submitting one’s life as being ‘totally penetrated,’ by God’s providence, is my attitude toward COVID-19 and whether or not to be vaccinated. I have chosen not to be anxious about COVID-19, nor take a vaccine. For I chose to fully live in the knowledge that not one hair falls from my head without Him knowing. That all my days are numbered. That the hour I am to be called will be the hour I am called. How that moment arrives, I allow Him to own. He who rains down His Love upon me at every moment will not be surprised at my arrival at His Door. We are here and now at this time of testing for this is meant to be for each. Hence I argue, it is not careless to oppose and distance one’s self from a NWO motivated irrational fear of an unseeable organism, to refuse to be injected with an insufficiently tested abortion tainted vaccine. If we are to trust in God’s providence, is it not to be so in all matters of our life and even the means of our death?

              To hold that all of life is penetrated by God’s providence is to join in chorus with St Gemma Galvani, and declare that we, poor worms that we are, the little nothings of this world, that when united with Jesus and His Holy Mother The Virgin Mary, all things are indeed possible!

39. True Faith means living as if everything will happen tomorrow and smiling at Heaven with each day that passes beyond that. I always say, who is the better son, the one who does what the parents ask throughout their absence or the one who, knowing or guessing the day in which they will return, waits until then to do all things he should have been doing all along?     There is some interesting material found in Fr. Materne Laffineur’s book, L’Etoile dans la Montagne.
    On the 8th of September 1966 in Torrelavega, during Conchita’s meeting with Fr. Laffineur along with some his travel companions (as witnesses) and Conchita’s mother Aniceta, Conchita stated,
    “Yes, I wrote the date of the Miracle to the bishop.”
    (It seems that this letter never came into the hands of Bishop Beitia) [who’s to blame?]
    « Sí, yo he escrito al señor obispo la fecha del milagro. »
    (parece cierto que esa carta no llegó nunca a las manos de monseñor Beitia: ¿por culpa de quién?)

    Also, in November of 1966, Conchita declared to [Madre] María Nieves García:
    « I told the date of the Miracle to Cardinal Ottaviani and the Pope’s confessor. »
    « La fecha del Milagro se la dije al cardenal Ottaviani y al confesor del Papa. »

    • Hi Michael, I am aware of it, Conchita told the date to Pope Paul VI and his close collaborators in 1966 (Ottaviani included) but she told only, the Archives sent to Rome via Laffineur did not included any dates, that was my meaning, thank you.
